Ann-Marie and Teresa LaGaipa are identical twin sisters, born and raised in New Jersey. Now in the Sunshine State, they both work as elementary school teachers.

After their first rescue dog passed away, Teresa and Ann-Marie decided to honor him by rescuing more senior dogs. They strive to make the rest of their lives the best of their lives.

The First of Many Rescues - Meet Mickey

 

Experience this journey that started out as a woman’s plan to rescue the dog that stole her heart, and ended up emBARKing on a lifetime of “Many Rescues.” A percentage of every book purchase will be donated to local rescue shelters. Thank you, in advance, for helping to make a difference in the lives of these special furry friends. You’ll also discover that sometimes people think they are saving their new pet, but oftentimes it’s the human that is being rescued.

A percentage of the book sales from the Rescue Series books will go to Senior Paws Sanctuary and Gulf Coast Humane Society.
